Lightened Up Spinach Artichoke Dip

  • 1 package (8 ounces) Neufchatel cheese, softened
  • 1 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach, drained and squeezed dry
  • 1 can (14 ounces) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 4 ounces (about 1 cup) shredded reduced fat mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix the softened cheese, yogurt, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, ¼ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper together in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the spinach, artichokes and mozzarella until well distributed throughout the mixture.
  4. Transfer the dip to a baking dish and sprinkle the parmesan evenly over the top.
  5. Bake 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Serve with chips, toasted pita or vegetables.
