Watermelon Agua Fresca

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed watermelon
  • 4 cups water, divided
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey, sugar or other sweetener of your choice (amount will vary depending on the sweetness of the fruit)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

  • Place the watermelon in a blender with 1 cup water, honey and lime juice. Puree until smooth. Strain the mixture into a pitcher and discard the solids. Stir in the remaining 3 cups of water and refrigerate until cold. Serve over ice.
