Strawberry Apple Compote

With only two ingredients, this simple and nutritious fruit compote is equally suited for babies or adults!

  • 1 large apple (8 ounces), peeled and chopped (about 1 ½ cups)
  • 1 ½ cups sliced strawberries

Instructions

  • Place the apples and strawberries in a medium saucepan with ¼ cup water. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer and cover. Simmer 15-20 minutes until fruit is tender.
  • Mash with a potato masher or fork or puree to desired consistency.
