Step 1: Cut the bread into cubes and put them in the greased bowl of your slow cooker.

Step 2: Whisk the milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup, and salt in a bowl.

Step 3: Pour the mixture over the bread. Press down to submerge the bread in the liquid.

Step 4: Dot the top with butter and cover.

Step 5: Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours until done. Scoop into bowls.

Step 6: Top with desired toppings like maple syrup, berries, powdered sugar and nuts.
