Step 1: Slice sweet potatoes into 1/8-inch slices- don't slice all the way through to the bottom.

Step 2: Brush sweet potatoes with oil, season with salt and bake until tender.

Step 3: Mix melted butter, maple syrup, pecans, and cinnamon in a bowl.

Step 4: Fan the sweet potato slices out with a fork.

Step 5: Spoon the maple pecan butter on top and bake until hot.
