Step 1: Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, honey and ginger together in a bowl. 


Step 2: Season the chicken thighs and cook them in the skillet until browned on both sides.


Step 3: Pour the sauce into the skillet. 


Step 4: Cook the chicken, turning it often, until sauce thickens and forms a glaze on the chicken.


Step 5: Slice the chicken and serve with brown rice. Top with extra teriyaki sauce, scallions, and sesame seeds.
