Sweet Potato Shepherd's Pie

What you'll need:

Oil Veggies- onion, mushrooms, peas, carrots Garlic Ground beef Spices- parsley, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper Worcestershire sauce Tomato paste Flour Beef stock Sweet potatoes Milk Butter

Step 1: Cook onions, mushrooms, garlic and ground beef in a skillet. 


Step 2: Add the dried spices, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce.


Step 3: Stir in the flour and beef stock and simmer until thickened.  Add the peas and carrots.


Step 4: Purée sweet potatoes, milk, butter and salt in a food processor.


Step 5: Spread sweet potato topping evenly over the filling.


Step 6: Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes. Garnish with sea salt and herbs.
