Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 slice leftover pizza

Instructions

  • Step 1- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F. Place the pizza slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer- don't overlap the slices. The number of slices you can fit will depend on the size and type of air fryer. You can place the pizza directly into the basket or line the basket with a disposable parchment paper liner or reusable silicone liner for easy clean up.
  • Step 2- Cook for 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy. You can open the basket and check the pizza occasionally to see if it's warmed to your liking. If it's browning too quickly, lower the temperature by 25 degrees. If it's not done after 4 minutes, you can add more time as needed until done. Carefully remove the hot pizza from the air fryer with a spatula or tongs and repeat with remaining slices of pizza.

Notes

  • For easy clean up, line the air fryer basket with a disposable parchment liner or reusable silicone liner.
  • Arrange the pizza slices in a single layer without overlapping or stacking them so that they cook evenly and don't stick to each other.
  • There's no need to spray oil on the pizza- the cheese already has enough oil in it.
  • Some air fryer models heat up faster than others so keep an eye on the pizza and check on it occasionally to make sure it's not browning too quickly. If it's getting too dark, lower the temperature by 25 degrees.
  • The final cook time will depend on the model of your air fryer as well as the thickness of the pizza. Thin crust pizza will cook faster and thick crust or deep dish pizza will take longer.
