What you'll need:

Apple cider Flour Baking powder Baking soda Cinnamon Nutmeg Salt Buttermilk Brown sugar Egg Vanilla Butter

Step 1: Simmer apple cider in a saucepan until it thickens.

Step 2: Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together in a bowl.

Step 3: Whisk buttermilk, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, melted butter, and apple cider reduction together in another bowl.

Step 4: Stir the dry and wet ingredients together until just combined.

Step 5: Spoon or pipe batter into donut pans and bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.

Step 6: Brush donuts with melted butter and dip in cinnamon sugar.

Step 7: If you don't have a donut pan, you can make donut holes using a mini muffin pan.
