- 4 mahi mahi fillets (4 oz each)
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
- mango salsa (optional)
Preheat an outdoor grill or indoor grill pan to medium-high heat and brush the grill grates with oil.
Pat the mahi mahi fillets dry with a paper towel and brush them with olive oil.
Mix the dried spices together in a small bowl. Sprinkle the spice mix on the fillets.
Place the fish on the hot grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes until grill marks form and the fish easily releases from the grill. Flip and cook another 3-4 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the mahi mahi from the grill and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top. If desired, top with mango salsa.
