This yummy avocado yogurt dip is a cinch to make. Just toss everything into a food processor and you have a delicious and nutritious dip in minutes. This creamy, flavorful dip pairs perfectly with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

- Yogurt- I use plain Greek yogurt; for more info, read my post on Greek yogurt nutrition
- Avocado- I use ripe Hass avocados
- Garlic- I use fresh garlic but you can substitute garlic powder
- Jalapeño- adjust the amount depending on how much spice you want
- Lime juice- use fresh lime juice for a pop of flavor
- Cilantro- adds bright flavor; if you don't like cilantro, you can leave it out or substitute fresh parsley
- Spices- I use a combination of chili powder, salt, and pepper; you can add other spices like cumin or cayenne pepper
How To Make Avocado Yogurt Dip

- Step 1- In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients.
- Step 2- Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed, adding more salt, pepper, or lime juice to taste.
Then, transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with additional cilantro, if desired. Serve with your favorite chips, crackers or sliced vegetables for dipping.

Avocado Yogurt Dip

- ยฝ cup plain 2% Greek yogurt
- 2 ripe Haas avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1 clove garlic (or ยผ teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1-2 tablespoons chopped jalapeño pepper
- 4 teaspoons lime juice
- ยผ cup cilantro
- ยผ teaspoon chili powder
- ยฝ teaspoon kosher salt
- โ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Puree all of the ingredients together in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
